Variety and vineyards
100% Tempranillo.

Coming from vines located at more than 900 meters of altitude in Pesquera de Duero, with a controlled yield. The soils are very poor and on the hillside.

Vinification and Aging
Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26ºC. Maceration for 3-4 weeks, with several daily pump-overs.

14 months in French and American oak barrels

Tasting notes and pairing
This wine, which is only produced in exceptional years, has a great structure, complexity and great concentration. It has an intense cherry red color. On the nose we can find a multitude of complex aromas such as an infusion of black berries, cocoa and spices. On the palate it is harmonious, powerful and with a long and persistent finish.
